Overview

YAP is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app does not collect, process, transmit, or analyze any personal data. All your notes and tasks are stored locally on your device and never leave it.

Data Collection

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

• No personal information
• No usage analytics
• No crash reports
• No advertising identifiers
• No location data
• No device information

Data Storage

All data you create in YAP (tasks, notes, groups, and connections) is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not synced to any cloud service
• Is not accessible to us or any third party
• Is fully under your control

Data Export

YAP provides features to export your data:

• Database backup: Export the full database to your device’s Downloads folder
• CSV export: Export all tasks as a CSV file
• Share: Share individual tasks or notes via Android’s share sheet

All exports are initiated by you and saved locally to your device.

Third-Party Services

YAP does not integrate with any third-party services. The app works entirely offline and does not make any network requests.

Permissions

YAP requests only the permissions necessary for its core functionality:

• Storage: To save database backups and exports to your Downloads folder

Children’s Privacy

YAP does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
